About Us
Chuck and Misty Lamarre started TruePoint in 2022 with a vision to help minority based businesses within construction so that more and more families would be taken care of. This is all started about seven years ago when Chuck’s neighbor moved in. He is from Brazil and was part owner of a construction company. They quickly hit it off and before too long, he asked Chuck to join him in selling for his business, which Chuck did. Chuck was able to learn all the aspects of running a construction company and also realized where they could use help. This is where TruePoint was birthed. Chuck saw that he could help more Brazilian companies by offering sales, leadership development, and logistical training quite inexpensively. In 2023, Sean Smith joined our team and became co-owner, helps with sales, and provides leadership development for our companies. He also serves as our pastor at Stone Coast Community Church.

Our Vision
TruePoint is a Christian owned and led business looking to give back to the Brazilian community through helping them build healthy sustainable businesses as well as giving back to Emerge, which is a mentor program for teens in fostercare. Emerge was started by Stone Coast Community Church in 2019, which we all are a part of, and we look forward to helping them build a community living area to provide housing, life skills training and workforce development in order to prepare them for their future.
